dear all, I'm analysising the flow from below into a jar-shaped flow field for medical device(pcr) with k-epsilon model.
I want to calculate the inlet boundary type of the k by set to 'turbulentIntensityKineticEnergInlet'. But I don't know what should I put in the 'value' field of 'turbulentIntensityKineticEnergInlet' type. To my knowledge, k can be calculated only by the turbulence intensity and velocity. Turbulence intensity is put from above and velocity is defined in U folder. Which 'value' is it for? Additionally, when calculating with a random value change, sometimes the calculation stops with a bounding k or epsilon error. But when I change the value, I get no error sometimes and convergence is good. How does 'value' affect this result? Thanks you for helping |
