Hi FOAMers,
I intented to set a case to simulate a non-neutral ABL but I ran into a problem setting up the BC for the top boundary. Applying zeroGradient is not really a choice since in that case, due to the domain being periodic, the heat would accumulate over time and the entire domain would keep evolving towards a mixed neutral state. It would be much appreciated if anyone can share some ideas or give a hint on what kind of openFOAM boundary condition is suitable for this application, or should I seek for customizing the source code? Kind regards, Sereff |
