Hi to all and sorry if this may sound basic but i have some doubts regarding the cyclic BC
I am working on my thesis and to have to simulate a laminar flow on a array of cylinders, similar to that of a tube bundle, and im using cyclic boundary conditions in order to save time. I know that with cyclic BC, its normal to get both velocity and pressure equal at the inlet and outlet, this means that there is no pressure drop. With this in mind is there anyway to obtain a «cyclical» pressure drop in a periodic array given a velocity? |
