I have a case that runs perfectly fine as incompressible without temperature consideration with fanPressure BC. Results are sensible and everything is good.

Now I need the same with heat transfer from the walls. I took a hot room tutorial and basically tried to transfer BC and everything to my case. If I drop my fanPressure and have instead fixedValue on the outlet, everything works fine.

With fanPressure, no matter how I try it, it goes already in the first step wrong. If I set it only in p and not in p_rgh then the rho_min gets close to zero. If I put fanPressure BC into p_rgh then rho_min becomes negative and rho_max 5 times as big as it should be.

Basically my questions are:

1. Is it possible to set-up heat transfer calc with fanPressure BC?

2. Any hints on how-to put fanPressure into p or/and p_rgh?

Appreciate your time.

Hi Lapka,

I took the circuitBoardCooling tutorial and applied fanPressure in p. it works well. When I want to apply fan for outlet, I define pressureInletOutletVelocity for velocity inlet BC, but it does not work!

Have you found any solution?
