Dear Foamers,
I'm super new with OpenFoam and I'm facing some issues (I couldn't manage to get a converged solution) in a case that I have to simulate with SRFSimpleFoam in foam-7. The case is a rotating duct (100rpm wrt the x axis) through which water flows. It is a really simple case and I cannot understand what is wrong with it. Because of simmetry, only a sector of 20° is meshed, with cyclic AMI used at periodicity patches. As boundary conditions I set an inlet total pressure (101325 Pa, considering that the density of water is 1000 kg/m^3, we have 101.325 M^2/s^2) and an imposed volume flow rate at outlet. I attached an image of the domain and all the text files set to run the case (in polymesh I only left boundary because of dimension limits, but if you want the mesh I can try to find a way to share it). Do you have any idea about what is the mistake I'm doing? Thanks in advance, Lorenzo |

Modifying the BCs the problem was more or less fixed (setting an inlet velocity field and an outlet static pressure).
