OK, so I have managed to create my blockmesh for an axisymmetric case, with multiple regions.
The blockmeshDict is attached. I am now after a step by step tutorial on how to set up the case files for solving a solid only (at this stage) steady state and transient heat transfer case. I have used the attached controlDict file also for generating the mesh. I have also created individual thermophysicalProperties files for each solid region that I can upload also if needed. I have followed the wikipedia example on creating the polymesh file, i.e. reducing the number of regions by 1 and removing the axis of symmetry. A simple schematic of what I am trying to model is shown below. Any assistance with the next steps would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by andrewlindsay; November 22, 2019 at 08:12.
