star4415 is on a distinguished road
Hello all,

We are trying to simulate a premixed combustion in a room(due to a fuel lakeage). It should be easy because there is XiFoam.

However, our problem is, this room has a door, and we need to analyse how the fuel and flame propagate outside the door.

We have added extra meshes outside the door(with open boundary). But, how can we describe that their is no fuel in the outside domain? Also, after ignition, some fuel would flow out of the door and form a flammable fuel. How to model this process?

We avoid using the finite-rate reaction model and transport equations for each species because: (1) the fuel is quite complex and hard to be simplified; (2) we have got a flame speed mode by experiment and want use it in the simulation.

Thanks very much for any suggestion!
