Hi,
I am simulating non equilibrium flashing of water into steam and I need to use euler-euler method namely twoPhaseEulerFoam with phase change. The original version does not have phase change implemented and I need to implement as source terms. Does anyone has any links for thesis, papers - ideally with some sort of code given to implement the phase change. Mainly I would need the saturation pressures at a given temperature and vice versa for water/steam. Any help is appreciated. Stanley |

Have a look at reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam. There are several tutorials with respect to boiling:

Thank you buddy. I was probably looking at the wrong direction.
It seems that phase change is built in the solver. I normally like to setup the solver in an integrated development environment like qt creator, study the equations and look what I need to modify. I am doing my PhD on flashing of steam. Just to confirm the twoPhaseEulerFoam is not the right solver and and reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam is the correct one, just from the point of view that phase change models are built in reactingtwophaseeulerfoam and not in twophaseeulerfoam.
