Hi all,
I have a modified version of pimpleFoam in which I have added a scalar transport equation. The problem is that after a long simulation time, abruptly, the pimple algorithm exits on a bad termination error (using mpi in parallel) right before '#include CourantNo.H' in the pimple loop. I haven't been able to reason what the cause of this bad termination might be. I have tried using a different mesh but this issue is recurring. However when I restart the simulation after the crash, it runs smoothly again without any issues until next such event. The solution is converging and there is no problem with my case setup. Has anyone else encountered this issue before? |
