Hi Foamers,
I'm currently working on simulating a pyrolyses process on a PMMA. The developed version of fireFoam crashes whenever the reaction is set to non-charring as follow "S1 = G1". This error does not seem to be present in the 2.2.x or 2.4.x version of fireFOAM I suspect that the solid reaction used by later versions of OpenFOAM requires the reaction to be S1 = S2 + G1. I'm quite new to C++ and OpenFOAM, so any hint on which source code/direction I should look is much appreciated. Many Thanks! Ben |

Hello Benjamin
I am facing the same problem. I want to simulate the pyrolysis of a non-charring material. I use OpenFOAM 6. Did you manage to solve your problem. I would really appreciate your guidance on this matter. |
