Good day.
Why was the script bin/foamExec dropped in OpenFOAM v1812? It's not in v1906 either. Is there an alternative to foamExec for v1812 and v1906 with the same functionality? Thanks. Glenn |

Issue report 1309, "foamExec file is missing," was created on 5/3/2019 and was closed with no fix. https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...us/issues/1309
However, foamExec is called in bin/foamJob, so its absence breaks foamJob, yes? The missing foamExec is only an issue for OF-v1812 and -1906. OF-7 still contains foamExec. I created issue report 1411 to address the impact on foamJob. https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...us/issues/1411 |
