Default Heat Radiation between two solids and Marshak boundary condition

Hello Everyone,


I am trying to implement heat transfer through radiation. I am using chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam.



My geometry has two regions (heater and bigSolid).


As you can see in the figure attached. the small green solid is heater and the big blue is the big solid. The heater is inside the big solid.


The temperature of heater is 500K and the temperature of bigSolid is 300K.


Now I am putting RadiationProperties in my constant/heater directory.


And I am putting boundary conditions for 'G' and IDefault. I copied these files from OpenFoam tutorial.


Now I have these questions:


1. what exactly G and IDefault is?
2. Do I need both these files to implement Radiation?
3. What are Marshak boundary conditions?


Can someone please help me out in this...
