Hello Snigdha,
Hope you didn't read the link completely. Your model is Eulerian-Lagrangian approach (or) Eulerian-Eulerian ?

coalChemistryFoam - Eulerian-Lagrangian
multiphaseEulerFoam - Eulerian-Eulerian.
You can adopt certain libraries and get ideas as how to implement from bioMassGasificationFoam. Libraries like porous regime, Arrhenius/Evaporation reaction rate, gaseous reactions and so on. Have you read that paper thoroughly ? Moreover the solver was implemented in lower OF version 2.1.1. What's your OF version?

Hence, I was assuming that biomassGasificationFoam will work for me.
How far you are convinced with biomassGasificationFoam ? Kindly make it clear from your perception. I may be wrong thinking that the solver won't suite your case perfectly but the solver will help you with some ideas for sure.

Thank you
