Hi Community,
I am new to openFoam. I have done few tutorials and wanted to practice a very simple 2D case with buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam. geometry.jpg My case is a simple channel with a cylindrical obstacle in it. I am attaching the cases (just run the run.sh command) : case1: orig_velocitydriven: inlet speed is specified at 0.147 ms-1 and it works perfectly. case2: remake_pressuredriven: here I specified the pressure 0.0345 at the inlet. I calculated this from the above case by using plot over line filter. check files for all the boundary conditions for both cases. The problem: When I simulate the second case, flow goes in the opposite direction. I don't understand this. Am I using the wrong boundary conditions or am I missing something. Any help would be appreciated |
