Hey guys,
I'm wondering what the best solvers to use for smoke and fire modelling are? I'm thinking it's probably DPMFoam or MPPICFoam???? https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...rd-solvers.php |

Dear Bdew,
why not fireFoam? It is included in the standard distribution and it is an effort of several researchers with the involvement of a leading private company in the industry insurance: https://www.fmglobal.com/research-an...-fire-modeling Franco PS: I have no involvement or affiliation with this private company but I know their excellent research group. |
