Dear community,
I am trying to obtain the permeability of a complex porous media, and to do so, I must acquire the flow rate in the outlet of the geometry for several inlet Pressure values. If I want to simulate 5 cases (such as Case1_P10kPa, Case2_P25kPa, Case3_P35kPa, Case4_P50kPa and Case5_P75kPa), assuming that I performed the Case1 simulation succesfully, Is there a possibility to export the internal fields (Pressure and velocity fields) for the next case to be simulated with it?? The geometry and boundary conditions remain the same, Also, I am using the same mesh for all the cases. I thought that would be easy, as all I needed to do was to copy the p and U files from the last time step, change the pressure in the p file and then put it on the "0" folder on the next case. But when I do so, I get the error: " --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: Expected a ')' while reading binaryBlock, found on line 22 the punctuation token '{' file: /home/lmmp/OpenFOAM/lmmp-6/run/Permanent/Chip_Micronite_OpenFOAM_P25kPa/0/p at line 22." However I cannot understand the binary, and I dont know where to change it. Thanks in advance. Vitor Heitor |
