Hi, guys,

I am running OpenFoam on Ubuntu from Windows 10, but I don't want it to take all my CPU power. Can anyone tell me how to cap a limit on it?

Thanks

I mean, to limit how much CPU power can be taken by the OpenFoam, because I still need to use the computer to do some other work.

Thanks for offering help.

Your computer has X number of cores. Just run openfoam on not all the cores...

If you want, you can use the maximum number of cores, but use (1 1 0.5) in the coefficient in the decomposerParDict file for schotch method.
