Hi,

I'm trying to simulate an open channel with periodic boundary conditions. I've based it of channel 395 only mine is an open channel, uses a RANS turbulence model and uses the simpleFoam solver.

My results don't seem to be reaching solution convergence, any idea why that might be?

case files are in the zipped folder.

It looks like there is something wrong with my pressure value. I thought the fvoptions would sort this but its not the case

I think I need to specify a pressure drop across Inlet and Outlet regions can this be done wit the boundary conditions I'm using?

Hi Stanley91, did you manage to find a solution for your problem ?, I think I'm experiencing the same issue in an open channel flow simulation.

Thanks in advance.
