Hi Everyone,
Im working on atmospheric natural ventilation. Been referring to tutorial case hotRoom and BernardCells but in my case openings to atmosphere is present. Uploaded my walls.png, the 3 red surface are walls (fixedValue 300K), and the grey surface is heated wall (fixedValue 315K). Above and below of the geometry are openings to atmosphere, allowing air to flow in and out. (openings.png) For current case file i uploaded here, i got the result of upward and downward airflow (mostly downward and stronger). Using advective and fluxCorrectedVelocity for T and U of openings. Uploaded my case as well (forum.zip) Using buoyantBoussinesqPimpleFoam Question 1: Is the expected result should have more upward ventilation instead the one i get? Question 2: if yes, which boundary condition im using wrongly? or there are something im mistaking even in the constant directory? I may mistake for things starting from basic. Thank you in advance for your help. Regards, Cham |
