Help with Boundary conditions for a two phase simulation.

Hello there,
i'm running a 2phase simulation (Water and Air) on a Hydrofoil wing. It took me a while but i finally managed to get it to converge on a value that makes sense and is pretty close to reality. Now i wanna check how the wing performs when angled 1° up and down. All i changed was the arrangement of parts in the mesh. Mesh settings with influencebodies remain the same yet now the cases keep diverging again. For the 0° simulation the fix seemed to be making the Boundaryconditions at the outlet more restrictive. I went from ZeroGradient for U, p_rgh and water to having u and water be fixedValues and p_rgh as fixedFluxPressure. I kept those conditions the same for the -1° and +1° simulations yet they keep diverging. Does anyone have an idea what else i could try? CheckMesh only returns 3 high orthogonality faces out of 23million cells and says "Mesh OK" in general. I'd be very grateful for some help. |
