Hello,
I am using OpenFOAM-4.1 and dsmcFoam for my application. I have my own solver which I have added to the dsmc library. I had to change workstation and that is when the problem started with parallel processing. In this new workstation, I get correct results with single processor. But if I try to use parallel processing with 8,9 or 10 processor it does not work. It only works with 5, 7 or 12 processors Case details: I have a 200 X 200 X 1000 porous structure and I decompose it in the z direction only. Then I use dsmcReactionFoam (my own) to get concentration of gas flowing through the porous structure. As it is a very specific kind of issue, I couldn't find any help online. Any help would be appreciated. |

It was due to typecasting a variable wrong.. I initialised a varibale as scalar and it needed to be int.
