Hello,

I'm running a simulation using interDyMFoam. In the controlDict, I set adjustTimeStep to yes, max Co to 1 etc. But the computation diverges quickly after starting when I set maxDeltaT to 0.001. Before it crashed, I saw the timestep decreasing down to 10^-8. But the change in timestep seems too late.

I can manually make the computation complete. I first run the computation by setting the timestep to 0.0001, lettig it run for 1 second, stopping the run and continuing with time step changed back to 0.001s. It works.

It seems that adjust time step failed but needs to change time step manually. Is there better solution?

Thanks,
Charles
