Hello,
I am now using OpenFOAM-v1706 to bubble flow with turbulent channel. I want to implement to use periodical alpha.water condition from the nozzle inlet instead of fixed alpha.water value. The periodic alpha.water value should change with time like a sine function for periodic bubble clusters like below picture. Could anyone tell me how to define this periodic alpha.water value and what is the best to this between function object and custom boundary condition? |

You can use uniformFixedValue boundary condition for this. It supports sine, table and a bunch of other time variations. Alternatively groovyBC will also do this.
