Preserving faceZone while using dynamic mesh refinement

Hello everybody,
i would like to use the interFoam solver (OpenFOAM v1806) with dynamic mesh refinement and do some post processing on a faceZone. The problem is that the faceZone changes as the mesh is refined and can not be used for post processing any more. This happens even if the faceZone is already refined to the finest level, so that the mesh does not change in the area of the faceZone. I attached an image with a pre-refined faceZone at the beginning of a test case (grey) and after some iterations (red). Is there any way to preserve the faceZone with dynamic mesh refinement? Thanks in advance |
