Hello,

I am working with a tutorial which shows how to replace my velocity at the inlet with the value of the outlet in order to work with a developped flow. The upper screenshot in [url=https://imgur.com/a/XUFMAFI] shows the entries I am supposed to make in the inlet boundary of the blockMeshDict file, the lower picture shows the modification of the inlet boundaryfield in the velocity boundary constraints file in the time direction "0" folder.

Can anybody explain my the meainging of setAverage and average in the inlet boundary field in this context?

Best,

William

Hi webster09,

have a look at C++ Source Code Guide: https://cpp.openfoam.org/v6/classFoa...d.html#details.

Kind regards,
Krapf
