Hello Foamers!
I am trying to run OF6.0 on a remote host and I am faceing difficulties doing that. Hardware: 3 X Hosts. - 192.168.8.101: X3850 M2 Rackserver - Kbuntu 14.04. - 192.168.8.102: WMPlayer - Kbuntu 18.04. - 192.168.8.103: Laptop - Kubuntu 18.04. OF6.0 is intalled on all PCs in the same way ind the same default setups... All PCs have the same user login and same password! ------------------------ Using commad: mpirun -host 192.168.8.102 rhoSimpleFoam or mpirun -host 192.168.8.102 -np 2 rhoSimpleFoam -parallel on 192.168.8.102 (on itself) works. --------------------------- Using commad: mpirun -host 192.168.8.102 rhoSimpleFoam or mpirun -host 192.168.8.102 -np 2 rhoSimpleFoam -parallel on 192.168.8.103 do not work. I do not get any massage on the terminal and the job do not start on .102 ---------------------------- The same happend between all PCs. ---------------------------- What do I need to run a job on a host PC? Google did not realy helped much. Regards Peter PS ssh in installed on all PCs using: sudo apt-get install openssh-server |
