Hi Again,
I'm creating a new post about the same issue as my last one, but this time I've narrowed it down a bit and am including some new images. I have a circular (cylindrical) arbitrary mesh interface (AMI) in a mesh that is intersected by a water surface. The solutions start out with some kind of instability that creates very high velocities near the intersection of the AMI and the water surface. I have tried refining the mesh in this area, but the issue persists. I also see some velocity magnitude around the entire circular AMI region when it should be still: The results are non-physical and extreme water disturbance, such that I cannot work this the model as it is and greatly need assistance in fixing this issue. |
