Hi all,
I have added MPPIC modelling to coalChemistryFoam. And coalChemistryFOAM works with two different clouds, coalCloud and limestoneCloud. So, I have a doubt regarding if MPPIC considers the interactions between these two different clouds as it considers between the parcels of the same cloud. How the inter-particle stress is calculated in MPPIC library? Does first cloud will have direct interactions with other cloud? Thank You! |

There will be no interaction between clouds as their averaged fields will be completely different. It's not easy to develop an algorithm that considers other clouds in the system. Not to mention, there is a code development standard of OpenFOAM which is, in this case, very challenging to follow.
What is easy is to have different density classes in one MP-PIC cloud. |
