Hi,
I am trying to solve a hypersonic flow past a flat plate problem using hy2Foam, a variant of OpenFOAM meant for hypersonic flow. I'm using the 11 species model and I realise that when I run with 4 and 8 procs, it diverges at around 1e-4 and 5.2e-5 respectively. May I know why this is so? Is this due to the linear solver? How should I troubleshoot? I'm trying to run with 2 procs and see how it goes... |

Hi, I managed to solve the problem myself by using a different linear solver. Changing from PBiCG to PBiCGStab when solving the Yi variables did the trick!
