Hello everyone,
I am trying to simulate two pitching airfoils with different oscillating omega using the solver pimpleDyFoam in OpenFoam 5. For this, I have created three meshes, one for each airfoil and a master mesh that will accept these meshes into its 'holes'. I have used mergeMeshes -overwrite ... to merge them and they conform perfectly and finally, we have 3 cellZones : rotor_1, rotor_2 and the master mesh. Now, I want to add different solid body motions to the rotor cellZones by specifying in the DynamicMeshDict. This I am unable to do. I am also using cyclicAMI BC to transfer parameters between the static and dynamic mesh. Somebody help me out ... or direct me to a thread where such has been discussed. Thanks, in advance. AK |

Hello. Have you found a solution? I'm with the same issue. 3 blades with pitching movement.
