Hello,
I am doing a DNS simulation of turbulent flow. For postProcessing I need to convert flow data (only a sub-region which is specified by toposet) into VTK format. The traditional way is to write the data in to time folder in the first place, and then using foamToVtk as a post-processing tool to convert the data. Since my grid is so large (each time folder is 7.4GB), it not a good idea to save the data. Therefore, I am asking, if anyone knows how can I convert the data into VTK during simulation. In this way, I don't need to save the primary data and reduce the data size. Thanks Yong |
