Hello, I would like to get some help on the way to set a fixed value to the internal field of nut, so that it stay constant over time step. I tried many times but it seems keep changing over time steps for both uniform and non uniform type. The "constant" keyword is not available for internal field. May I know any other way to do? Thanks for your time and help.

Hi Jia Hui,
Your question sounds similar to that of this post where someone wanted to fix the velocity vector in one cell of the domain, i.e., not to solve the momentum equation for this cell: Fix velocity value Please have a look. Thanks, Vince |

p/s: I'm using pimpleFoam to run incompressible flow within a rectangular duct with a small solid within it. I would like to fix nut internal field value. Should I create or use other .H file in the incompressible directory? I have pEqn.H, UEqn.H, createFiels.H and pimpleFoam.c in my pimpleFoam directory. or it can be done by edit the following file (replace the existing with the code u provide)? https://github.com/vincentcasseau/hy...vEqnInviscid.H After edit the file, i can run the solver? Do i need to set anything in the internal field ? Eg: uniform 1 or non uniform..? Sorry for my dummy question, because i have totally no basic on programming, learning from zero now. Thanks again for your help. Appreciate it Last edited by jiahui_93; October 7, 2018 at 00:05. |
