Hi,

I am trying to run a hypersonic flow simulation using turbulent modelling (k-omega sst) with rhoCentralFoam in foam extend 4.0.

I managed to run successfully with dbnsTurbFoam but when I run with rhoCentralFoam, it runs but it seems to be running in laminar mode. There is no calculation of turbulent variables like omega etc.

Why is this so? Is this supposed to be the case? I have shown the case files:

FoamFile
{
version 2.0;
format ascii;
class dictionary;
location "constant";
object turbulenceProperties;
}
// * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * //

simulationType RASModel;

FoamFile
{
version 2.0;
format ascii;
class dictionary;
object RASProperties;
}
// * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * //

RASModel kOmegaSST;

turbulence on;

printCoeffs on;
