Good day all,
I have developed a multiphase solver for teh simulation of dissimilar metallic melting, and vapourisation, based on the multiphaseeulerfoam solver, with extra source terms in MULES for diffusion and various other source terms for marangoni convection, recoil pressure and updated surface tension models. I am about to submit a paper on the solver. However I would like to make sure I represent the stress tensor correctly in the equations, as this is one part of teh solver I have not modified. I was hoping someone could tell me if I am correct that the viscous stress tensor for phase k can be represented as: I see that the /*- ((2.0/3.0)*I)*k*/ is commented out in the solver, could someone also explain thus to me. I'll be forever grateful. Once the paper is published I'll share it on here with the solver. All the best, Tom /* Layout-provided Styles */ div.standard { text-align: left; } Last edited by tom_flint2012; June 26, 2018 at 14:57. Reason: math not displayed |
