phil_60 is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

I am just trying to do a CFD of a rotor of a wind engine using OF 3.01 on Centos 7.

Therefore, I used the motorbike Tutorial as a template.
As a first step I did a simulation of a NACA-4424 airfoil (for validating my simulation), which caused no issues.
By changing the geometry to the real rotor, I got segmentation violations.

When I changed the values of the vertices in the blockMeshDict (so I am scaling down the Box) the CFD runs properly again simulating the real rotor- but only parts of it.

Whenever I want to simulate the whole geometry of the rotor again I get an error messages in the log.simpleFoam file --> see atachement

The only dictionary that I modified are the blockMeshDict (different vertices) and the snappyhexMeshDict (locationInMesh).

link to the simulation (tar-file): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BsK...prMHGiMQ0/view

I am thankful for anything I get!

kind Regards

Philipp
