Hi everybody,
I'm using pimpleDyFoam to translate a cylinder deforming the mesh. I would like to have the cylinder rotating around its axis using rotatingWallVelocity BC but I'm facing the problem of specifying the origin of rotation because it is not constant and it moves as the cylinder changes its position. The attached picture shows the translation path (big circle) followed by the cylinder and the rotation around its axis I would like to impose (little circles). It is fundamentally a journal bearing. Have anyone already had this problem? Any hints? Thank you! |

Dear Giovanni,
Have you found the solution to this problem? I'm facing the exact same challenge. Cheers, I. |

Unfortunately not, so if you find it please post the solution here.
