Hello All,
I would like to know whether the procedure mentioned below to simulate wind flow around buildings with spatial and temporal varying wind data as inputis right or wrong? How is it being solved: Run a steady-state pre-simulation and map the data at the outlet to the inlet of new unsteady LES simulation. Wind profile data is given as input using timeVaryingMappedFixedValue boundary condition. Now I have multiple sets of wind profile data at varying times i.e., at regular intervals of time. I see that the same boundary condition i.e., timeVaryingMappedFixedValue can be used to provide multiple sets of time varying wind profile input in constant/boundaryData folder by creating different folders for different times. Queries: While running a steady-state pre-simulation first, can I give multiple sets of wind profile data at different times i.e., at 60, 120, 180, 240 and so on to the pre-simulation itself ? Will the outlet data of this converged steady state simulation be enough to give it as input to the unsteady LES simulation to be carried out later? Is this the right way to solve this problem?
