Hello all,
I have been working on a dissertation which is on the topic of dam break and surface roughness relationship and currently, I am using the model base on the dambreakwithobstacle in tutorial. For some reason no matter how I change the value of Ks and Cs in 0/nut, it has no effect on final result but I have no idea why. the setup of the model file is uploaded to google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10R...GKOwE0Az8OfBIf If you guys have time would you mind take a look at whats wrong? Many thanks! Jesse |

Because your case is laminar! nut is turbulent viscosity if the case is laminar it doesn't calculate nut. Set it to RAS and pick a turbulence model such as SST or realizable.
