nk1802 is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

Sorry for my not good english, I am on a thesis in final year, and I am new with openFoam.

My supervisors ask me for computing for UAV - tricopter and using rotorDisk to model a virtual blade instead of generating a cad model of propellers.

My problems:

1) I can't get convergence although I generate a complete mesh
+ SnappyHexMesh generate mesh for tricopter + 3 rotor disk (cylinder with thickness is 1 cell thick)
+ Salome generate mesh for only cylinder computational domain.

2) I try to establish rotor coefficients for each rotor disk, but I can't understand much about these rotor parameters. (the origin, the ref.Direction, psi axis).

After generating mesh, I have totally 3.4m cells, and 3 rotatingZones with 18137 cells

Mesh overall info:

Max. aspect ratio : 5.32
Max. skew ness: 3.0059
Non-orthogonality mesh: Max 65/ Average 6.9

Please help me ,
Thank you guys so much
