Hi,
I am currently solving conjugate heat transfer case with radiation fvDOM model. In my case, residual of energy and all radiation ray are going down well at first 1000 iterations. They all reached about 1e-5 to 5e-6 level. Because I saw temperature on some surfaces and solid parts are still increasing, So I keep the simulation running. After 1700 iterations, the residual of energy suddenly start diverging and the simulation eventually crash at 3000 iterations when solve radiation model. The only one strange thing I noticed that I got very low qr about -1e+20 at two cells on a fixedValue temperature surface. I don't know if this is the reason cause the energy equation diverging. Because as I understand, the radiation heat flux shouldn't impact energy field at a fixedValue temperature boundary patch. Can anyone give me any suggestion how I can check what is wrong for my simulation? Would it be help if I limit the qr with a minimal value on the surface? Thanks very much. |
