Dear all,
I'm trying to simulate high pressure gas atomization process using compressibleInterFoam. Pressure inlet boundary condition is used for gas inlet (Pressures 10-30atm) and fixed velocity boundary condition is used at the liquid inlet. Liquid is heated above 1000K and gas is entering at room temperature. I have tried many changes (in terms of boundary conditions, Pmin, momentum predictor and transonic conditions) but my simulation crashes after few time steps. One thing I have noticed is it creates liquid from the side outlet, which is not physical. And finally it crashes with negative temperature values. I have attached an animation of my simulation and also my test case file herewith. I really appreciate if someone can help me with this. Thank you again, Kalpana |
