Hello, Foamer
I want to discuss a problem about two phase system of water and solid particle( slurry flow in 3D pipeline ) using twoPhaseEulerFoam.
**********************************************
The basic description about the problem i'm studying:
1.the solid-liquid two phase flow, that is slurry flow(belongs to ).
2.This is an isothermal flow. So, It doesn't have to solve the temperature equation from the document-"twoPhaseEulerFoam.C".
3.It is considered that the drag force and turbulent diffusion force affect the interphase momentum exchange.
4.the volume fraction of solid particle is more than or equal to 0.2.
5.the initial inlet velocity of water is 0.25m/s. the initial lnlet velocity of solid particle is 0m/s.
************************************************
The problem i met :
The calculation has always been divergent and the terminal display the denominator is 0 during the process of calculation.
In order to solve the problem, I have checked the quality of mesh, it's ok.
**************************************************
So, i'm not sure Whether the Boundary conditions and initial conditions is right.

The file of checkMesh indicates the Mesh is ok.
Attached Files
File Type: txt checkMesh.txt (2.9 KB, 7 views)

During the calculation, the courant Number can be up to 0.8. What's more, the No Iterations of P_rgh is always 1000, leading to waste more time to model two phase system.

Hello, why not posting the actual text content of your files instead of impossible-to-be-edited images?

Post the content the files you believe are important to be read inside a [CODE] tag, together with your case tar-gzipped (without the mesh, just the configuration files) as attachment.

Please remove the images
