I have imported mesh file from ANSYS and it worked properly but when I ran the solver it is showing the following error.
FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: cannot find file file: /home/dell/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-3.0.0/tutorials/incompressible/pimpleDyMFoam/wingMotion/new_wing/0/pointDisplacement at line 0. From function regIOobject::readStream() in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73. FOAM exiting |

Hallo CHAYANIT,
I haven't worked with dynamic meshes so far. But as per your error it says that you don't have pointDisplacement initialized in your 0 folder. Have a look at incompressible/pimpleDyMFoam/wingMotion tutorials. Perhaps most of your questions will be answered. Hope this helps! Regards, Ricky Quote:

Thank you.
I worked with wing motion tutorial that you suggested.Bur on solving, it is showing the following error. Selecting dynamicFvMesh dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh Selecting motion solver: sixDoFRigidBodyMotion --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: cannot find file file: /home/dell/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-3.0.0/tutorials/incompressible/pimpleDyMFoam/wingMotion/no/0/pointDisplacement at line 0. From function regIOobject::readStream() in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73. FOAM exiting |
