Hello,
I have a case with the following files in /constant/polyMesh - Boundary - cellLevel - cellZones - faces - faceZones - level0Edge - neighbour - owner - pointLevel - points - pointZones - refinementHistory - surfaceIndex I'm using blockMesh, snappyHexMesh and topoSet to create my mesh, consisting of a 3D-Geometry in a 3D domain with multiple refinements. Which of the files in the above folder can I safely delete when storing the case for later use? Keeping the files requires a lot of storage. I've tried deleting all files and only keeping "boundary", but re-creating and running the case with the same previously used commands and settings is not successfull. I get a different convergence result compared to the original case. Furthermore, the re-created mesh differs from the original mesh (e.g. layering around geometry). Best regards and thank you for any help, Alwin |
