mixkats is on a distinguished road
Greetings Foamers,

i have to simulate (2D) heat storage in fluidized or packed bed for my thesis (i just want to maximize heat transfer from air to sand). With my minimal knowledge with OpenFOAM, i 'm trying it with the tsoPhaseEulerFoam solver, without being sure if it 's the most suitable. (i really don't even know how to express my simulation )

My BC's are still fluent (i 'm gonna change the value to the desirable result), but i assume for now that air at 150oCelsius is blown to sand at room temperature in a tank with atmospheric pressure.

The documentation of the solver says that it includes heat transfer, but when i run a simulation adjusted like below (if i am doing everything correctly), i hardly see any difference to the final temperature of the particles, and that is my main problem.

I 'm pretty much desperate, if anyone can help...

Much obliged in advance
