Hi guys,
(Im new to CFD and new to OpenFoam) I am currently trying to model a pipe flow with a fibre inside a pipe with an axial velocity u_F. To give you a better understanding of this case you can have a look on the enclosed pic. I started with the pitzDaily example for incompressible fluids and the simpleFoam solver. I thought I can model the moving fibre defining a boundary condition on that wall with the fibre velocity. I noted that with this definition I created a new mass or volume flow into the system. What of course is not what I want. So my question: Does someone of you have any idea how I can model this in OpenFoam? I would be happy about every hint you can give me. Thank you very much in advance! Hope to help you too in the future Kind regards Markus |
