Hello Foamers,
I hope there is someone out there who can help me with the mesh setup for the engineTopoChangerMesh class verticalValves. I think I defined all the necessary boundary patches in the engineGeometry dictionary. However, the motion solver such as moveDyMEngineMesh (foam extend 4.0) gets stuck when the layer addtion/removal mesh modifiers are added: Code:
Adding a layer addition/removal mesh modifier to the poppet of the valve 1 "valvePoppetLayer1" 1 Adding a layer addition/removal mesh modifier to the bottom of the valve 1 "valveBottomLayer1" 2 Adding a layer addition/removal mesh modifier to the piston-valve 1 --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Face extrusion zone contains no faces. Please check your mesh definition. From function void Foam::layerAdditionRemoval::checkDefinition() in file polyMeshModifiers/layerAdditionRemoval/layerAdditionRemoval.C at line 123. FOAM aborting Thanks |
