Hi,
I have an interesting yet very annoying problem when running a case and I can't work out what could be causing it, so any help would be appreciated. When I run the case then lock the desktop, as soon as the simulation reaches a write point it seems to pause and just sits there, as soon an I unlock the computer it starts running again, it will happily sit paused for several days without problem and then continue running when I unlock the machine. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening or how I might be able to diagnose where the problem is coming from? Thanks, Andrew |

Well i've narrowed it down to the runTimePostProcessing functionObject in openfoam 1612, i'm not sure why it's happening still since the function uses offscreenrendering. In anycase at least the problem is limited to a single functionObject.
