Hi Everyone,
I have been struggling on a particular test case which would appreciate anyones comments/suggestions. Basically, I would like to simulate an oscillating cylinder sitting on a boundary (or very close to the boundary). However, any settings that I tried failed. It fails pretty quickly (in few seconds) as soon as the cylinder starts to move. I uploaded my case files on Google Drive and the link is https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4...jNKeWtxUTFtVEU I would really appreciate if anyone can kindly help me on this. Many thanks Ashkan |

Hi All,
I managed to run the simulation successfully using the overset approach. I am still interested to know other's suggestions. Regards Ashkan |
