Hello, foamers.

I have been trying to simulate a 6-dof system with OpenFOAM 4.1.

The case is VIR of a cylinder, and its shape is square cylinder in 2D. (1m x 1m length and width)

I am using pimpleDyMFoam with Arbitrary Mesh Interfaces.

When I run the case, it numerically converged, however, the physical values are not matched with the reference paper.

Re number : 50, - in this regime, the rotations must be in equilibrium state after some time. But my simulation results kept going larger as resonance occured (the moment by a rigid body, and the force induced by vortex).

Re number : 70, as the case Re-50 goes into equilibrium state, this case must also be in that state, but it is fluctuating as it is a case of Re 80 or 90.

I have check the BCs and ICs, and dynamicMesh files so many times. but I still do not know what is the problem.

Any Idea of how stabilize the moment induced by flow?

if you need more information about my case, just let me know. I will show you the files I have made.

Thank you in advance.

By the way, the first graph is angular velocity of a cylinder when Re - 70, the second is Re - 50
